These photographs was from a brief trip my brother, Tom, and I took to Switzerland. We were introduced to
John and Emmy Gerber by John's brother's Fritz. They welcomed us into their home, which is currently the
stöckli located on the east side of Giebel. John was
the previous occupant of Giebel. |

 | Fluhliglas While at the Stoeckli, we were able to drink from the famous Fluhliglas, a glass that has been in the Gerber family possession since 1736. The backside of the glass shows the early version of the Gerber crest. A translation of the front side is "To all Gerbers, good health." |
